Kids everywhere in the U.S. are taught from a young age to call 9-1-1 in case of emergency. It’s universally known that when you need help, that’s who you call (unless there are ghosts…then you call someone else).
The TSA body scanners have been all over the news lately. Why? Because they are extremely thorough, which means the scanner picks up everything (including your junk). The hype is that TSA promised these images wouldn’t be released, but in a day and age of sex tape scandal after sex tape scandal it’s not hard to imagine that these images would leak out. And they did.
Thanksgiving is the time-honored holiday that ignites the stuff-your-face festivities of November and December. But a unique thing about this holiday is discussion it can spark at the Thanksgiving dinner. Some love it because it symbolizes a day of gratefulness and family togetherness. Others think it’s not right to celebrate because of what eventually happened between the Native Americans and the colonists. Ah, debate!

President Barack Obama made a historical appearance on the Daily Show on Oct. 27th. Why so historic? No other President has ever done it before. Though, to be fair, the only other person eligible for this honor would’ve been President George W. Bush and…ya know… I just don’t think that would’ve turned out well. It would be like back in 2006 when Colbert spoke at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, but in reverse.
