In this course, students will address consideration -- one of the most challenging concepts to understand in the area of contract law. As a paralegal, students must learn to recognize what does and does not constitute proper consideration and be able to explain the purpose of consideration in contracts. By the end of this course, participants will also be able to identify when contracts can be enforced without any consideration. Understanding what is and what is not consideration is essential in a student’s analysis as to the validity of any contract.
