A two-year business degree like the Associate of Arts in Foundations of Business offers students a general overview on the main tenants of business. This degree is very similar to a Business Administration degree, having as part of its curriculum courses in economics, accounting and management.
The Foundations of Business Associate Degree aims to prepare students to enter a twenty first century business world by offering courses that discuss current topics like globalization and internet marketing. Also, students may have the opportunity to take information technology courses or technical courses that teach students how to use business related software such as spreadsheets and accounting programs.
