The Associate of Arts degree program is comprised of a series of steps, or "building blocks," from training in fundamental comprehension and expression (Preparatory Skills) to background knowledge (Basic Subjects) to educational experience with expanded breadth and depth of practical and theoretical knowledge (general Education Breadth). Our Associate of Arts degree is perfect for students who are currently undecided toward a specific program or career and who wish to apply college credit already attained. Students with an associate degree have finished the first step toward completing their four-year baccalaureate degree.
