The Associate of Arts with a concentration in Information Technology/Database Development offers coursework covering the installation and programming of database applications in the business environment. The development of queries and reports from a database are addressed in this program as well as the backup, recovery, and security of databases. Nine weeks in length, Axia College courses are offered in pairs, or "blocks," designed to complement each other. In these courses, emphasis alternates weekly between reading and online discussion one week and a work project the next. The completion of an Associate of Arts degree represents an important milestone for many students as they pursue their educational goals. *Program availability is based upon student demand. Some programs may not commence until there is sufficient enrollment.
