Bachelor of Arts in Org Mgmt-Communications

Today’s economy has been very tough on millions of people. Hiring companies can afford to be pickier than ever, because they have a wider pool of potential employees to choose from. If you have previous credits in communications and are interested in going back to school with a wider set of knowledge and skills, you may be able to utilize those credits in a bachelor of arts in organizational management with a concentration in communications. Students who have at least four approved courses or 12 hours in communications studies may combine them with an organizational management degree, creating a uniquely tailored degree program. Organizational managers are trained in specialized observational and analysis techniques that are designed to help organizations create a more effective and productive workplace. Additionally, organizational managers always keep in mind the human element of an organization, and work to create plans that will take in intercultural communication issues, human resources management, and employee morale. Of course, they must also meet the corporate needs of the organization, creating a plan that helps companies create and implement harmonious work environments that are productive, efficient, and mindful of goals. Graduates of an organizational management degree with a concentration in communications will be well prepared to work in any industry that seeks to resolve issues and improve performance.
