Home > College Degrees > Bachelor of Business Administration General
College enrollment rates are rising across the board, and one of the main reasons is because people know that companies can afford to be choosier about their hires. If you know that you want to get a college degree so you can work in business, but you don’t have a specific career direction in mind, a Bachelor of Arts n Business Administration general degree program might be a good choice. Although many business administration degrees are focused on a particular field of business, many students instead choose a more general approach in order to have more flexibility in their careers and job choices. Students who choose a generalized approach in their business degree will still be required to take foundational classes in a number of required courses like management, marketing, accounting, and HR management. Additionally, some business degree programs offer their students an opportunity to complete an internship in a business or corporate setting for a semester. Often, these types of programs will help students understand and analyze real-world business issues and problems. Once students have graduated from a business administration program, they will be prepared to work in the corporate world in entry positions under the supervision of experienced supervisors.
