The world has quickly become a global community that requires communication and management for businesses on an international level. Business managers who wish to work on an international level, managing people and industries within a global context should consider seeking a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration – Global Management. BA in Business Administration – Global Management programs seeks highly motivated students who understand the complexities of working in multicultural environments. Most programs require high competency in a second language. In addition to the normal curriculum of accounting, business management, economics and other business administration courses, Global Management students must generally take a minimum number of courses that focus on international management issues. Some Global Management degree programs may even require a minimum study or work abroad experience (including volunteer work) to complete the degree. While most programs can be completed in four years with careful planning, it is not uncommon for students to complete programs in five years. Many programs also offer the opportunity for students to specialize in a particular area of business, such as accounting or marketing, in addition to their Global Management curriculum; these additional studies may be as a minor area of study or as a second major, depending on the program.
