A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Corporate Finance degree program incorporates the knowledge of business administration with finance. Students take foundational liberal arts coursework along with focused business classes such as investments, business ethics, budget management, intro to business, business law, accounting, global investments, macroeconomics, risk management, financial compliance, statistics, and fiscal finance. Students who are obtaining their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Corporate Finance degrees will be educated in how to be effective managers for organizations in order to increase values for the firms’ shareholders and employees. This curriculum shows students how to understand theories regarding accounting data and measurement, how to make sound financial decisions, and how to communicate economic data. Leadership is stressed along with efficient critical thinking skills. It is imperative that students employ innovative problem solving skills when faced with complex and difficult challenges. Hands on projects may be required and gives students the opportunities to work in professional manners with their peers and professors. In the process, communication skills are honed orally and in writing. Public speaking is a must as well.
