Colorado Tech Online is pleased to announce the addition of an industry-current BSBA degree program with a concentration in Property Management. Applications are being accepted now for classes scheduled to begin on May 9, 2009. When owners of apartments, office buildings, or retail or industrial properties lack the time or expertise needed for the day-to-day management of their real estate investments or homeowner associations, they often hire a property or real estate manager or a community association manager. According to the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of property, real estate, and community association managers is projected to increase by 15 percent during the 2006–16 decade, faster than the average for all occupations.* In response to this growing need for knowledgeable, skilled professionals with a college degree in business administration and an interest in pursuing a future in property management, this program focuses on teaching students how to:
