The Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration degree discusses the latest trends and statistics in community health in an effort to effectively address the health issues facing today's communities. Students will have a general introduction to computer literacy and information technology at a level appropriate for health care students with discussions of hardware and software, communications and networking, ethical issues, and privacy concerns.
This program also promotes an awareness of the dimensions and complexities involved in caring for people from diverse cultural backgrounds. It explores the meaning of health, illness, and optimal health care while providing a conceptual integration of the most important relevant research, as well as discussing the most important recent findings.
Students must satisfy the following course requirements: 14 Core Courses, 14 General Education Courses, and 14 General Elective Courses, for a total of 126 semester units of credit.
