Managing initiatives and workers within public and non-profit organizations involves unique challenges and knowledge. A bachelor of science in leadership and organizational studies with a concentration in public and non-profit management may be ideally-suited to teach students about those challenges and how to mitigate and flourish within them. A good foundation in theories of organization and groups will likely be essential to understanding the various problems and solutions that present themselves when working with teams of people.
