Financial Planning Certificate

This program is geared toward individuals interested in pursing a career in financial planning. Students will learn to analyze all aspects of their client’s finances including income, assets and tax management. Participants will also learn how to identify their client’s financial strengths, weaknesses and goals while developing a detailed financial plan.

Now is the time to become a financial planner. Many baby boomers are planning their retirement and are seeking investment advice. It is estimated that financial planning jobs will increase by 34.6 percent by 2012.

Graduates of this program can work in a variety of settings -- from high-end firms to small businesses. Insurance companies, brokerage firms, banks, financial service companies, investment banks and accounting and law firms are all in need of financial planners.
