This program prepares criminal justice professionals in both the public and private sectors to respond to emerging trends, assume leadership roles, and have an applied base of knowledge. The program's curriculum is designed to enhance the students' knowledge in and an understanding of the field of criminal justice by providing instruction in administration of justice, investigations, juvenile delinquency, community-based corrections and substance abuse. Historical development and philosophy of criminal law, rules of evidence, and proper report writing techniques are additional areas of study.
