The Corrections concentration as part of a Criminal Justice degree is the study of correctional institutions, methods of correctional treatment and the social services provided to convicted persons and their dependents. Students taking a course in corrections will gain knowledge of the history, theory and practice of probation, parole and correctional institutions.
