In today’s marketplace, financial management of an organization has evolved from an organization where employees have functional responsibilities to employees who have the expertise to develop business strategies based on key financial issues. The Finance concentration prepares business leaders to gain a practical understanding of how financial data is used to make business decisions. Key to this concentration is the knowledge of budgeting, financial information, investments, internal controls and legal issues, data analysis, planning and evaluation and international financial strategies.
