Information Assurance MS
The MS Information Assurance addresses the management of risk to organizational and individual information assets and the importance of building secure systems that protect the confidentiality, accessibility and integrity of those assets in today’s global environment. The degree is mapped directly to the key elements of Information Assurance, as defined by the National Security Agency (NSA). It is comprised of seven core courses, two electives and a capstone thesis. The core courses will give students a comprehensive understanding of the issues and challenges associated with securing data, as well as the ethical and legal restrictions that affect societal roles. If you want to pursue a research career or further your studies in information assurance, this degree provides exemplary preparation.
