It's Your Education, Make an Informed Choice.

During this course, students gather lots of information about the law and the career choices paralegals have. Students will explore how to get the job they want, once they are ready to get out in the real world. In this course, students will learn how to write an effective resume and examine how to target the resume to focus on the type of position an individual wants within different work environments.

Participants will also learn about specific websites that will help in their search for a job. Classmates will have the opportunity to discuss their paralegal futures on the discussion board and learn interviewing tips.

Course Objectives

• By the end of this course, students will be able to write their own career plan and both a functional and chronological resume. They will also have a plethora of tips for how to nail a job interview.
