Master of Information Systems
Technology programs at University of Phoenix are designed to prepare students with the competencies and skills needed to function effectively in the information technology arena. Students can explore specific technology areas while learning to address real-world business opportunities and challenges. Our bachelor's and master's degree programs focus on the application of information technology in business and have several primary content areas including business systems, programming, database and networking technologies, web multimedia and visual communication.
The Master of Information Systems (MIS) program provides the knowledge to successfully apply information systems theory and principles to address real world business opportunities and challenges. Under the guidance of practitioner faculty, the graduate student will use innovative digital materials to understand the role of business systems within the organization, to understand and apply the principles of systems analysis and design, to analyze and evaluate information technologies, and to create project, risk, and information systems strategic plans.
