Professional Counseling 60-Hour Master's

Liberty University’s Master of Arts in Professional Counseling program provides you comprehensive training in professional counseling to prepare you for licensure and national certification. Our courses also provide you with a strong foundation based on biblical principles to supply the values, knowledge and skills needed to effectively work as a professional counselor. Three one-week intensives are required, as well as a three-credit hour internship and a three-credit hour practicum. Both 48-hour and 60-hour programs are available; depending on your state’s licensing requirements. Contact your state to find out your state’s licensing requirements before applying.

Students are required to take 3-4 classes on Liberty University's campus in Lynchburg, VA.
