Professional Peace Officer Certificate

Protecting society and its citizens is a special calling, and those who heed that call are a unique breed. Through our Minnesota Police Officer training, you could become one of the elite few who maintain order, keep the peace, and put criminals behind bars. Earning this Certificate will clearly show that you have a strong commitment to your career, positioning you to become a Law Enforcement Officer in the state of Minnesota.

We are the first two-year, private college in Minnesota to achieve the POST Board Certification to instruct Professional Peace Officer Education classes. Students completing their Minnesota Police Officer training through Rasmussen College will be eligible to take the Minnesota State Peace Officer exam, and become eligible for positions in Law Enforcement within the state of Minnesota.
