Program Specialist: Early Childhood MEd
Today you have the opportunity to make an important decision that could significantly improve your career, impact the lives of others and influence your ability to shape the future of education. By choosing to earn your Master of Education through Liberty University’s Graduate Studies, you can set that opportunity in motion.
Liberty University’s Master of Education program prepares you for effective leadership in Christian, private and public schools. Courses provide specialized preparation for individuals seeking credentials for a K-12 school position or those with a desire to further their education and pursue either an Ed.S. or Ed.D. To supplement your core courses, you will choose a specialization, gaining in-depth knowledge in your chosen field. Specializations include Administration and Supervision, Teaching and Learning, Program Specialist and School Counseling.
Students will have the opportunity to develop curricula for children from infancy to school entry and to develop, manage and evaluate appropriate and effective early childhood education programs. Over the course of study, students will explore how children grow, develop, learn and change from birth to school entry and beyond.
This program is approved through the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and is a state-approved program for advanced licensure (reciprocity with other states) or endorsements. All graduate faculty members hold doctoral-level degrees from major research universities and are committed to teaching from a Christian perspective.
