Undergraduate Certificate in Advanced Accounting

UMUC's Undergraduate Advanced Accounting Certificate is designed to meet the needs of accounting professionals who want to enhance their accounting skills. In addition to course prerequisites, students are encouraged to take courses in economics, basic mathematics, and statistics before starting the certificate program.

With appropriate choice of courses, this certificate may be completed while pursuing the Bachelor of Science in accounting. Core coursework includes: Intermediate Accounting I, Taxation of Corporations and Other Entities, and Auditing Theory and Practice. This certificate requires 18 semester hours to complete.
