Personal Data. When you fill out a "Student Matching Profile", our Self-Assessment,
our Financial Aid Estimator, and at other times, we ask for some information about
you, such as your name, age, email address, postal address, and phone number, level
of education, desired level of educational program, areas of interest, current occupation,
military status (if any), governmental loan status. We do not knowingly collect
information from children under the age of 13.
Anonymous Data. We automatically collect IP addresses and Web site usage information
from you when you visit the Site. This information helps us evaluate how our visitors
use and navigate the Site on an aggregate basis, including the number and frequency
of visitors to each Web page, and the length of their visits.
We may use your personal data in the following ways:
- For the purpose for which you specifically provided the personal data, for example,
but not limited to, to match your student matching profile to educational institutions
or to respond to a specific inquiry.
- To send you notifications about your accounts or transactions with us and to otherwise
contact you with information that we believe will be of interest to you.

We may combine the information that we collect from you on the Site with information

EducationDynamics will not disclose your personally identifiable information except as described below:
If you use our site or if you post on our blogs, forums, message boards,
or chat rooms, some personally identifiable information may be seen by other members or users.
This includes, but is not limited to, the poster's name, date of post, comments, IP address,
survey responses, and other information. This information may also be transferred to any
outside entity, including the press or other media that visits our site.
We use the information we automatically collect (such as contact information, IP address and basic
browser and system details) to help us optimize our sites and the services we currently offer on the
sites and may offer in the future. We also collect personal information and share it with trusted third
parties to analyze and provide us with feedback, suggestions and strategies to improve our business

so they may offer goods and services that we believe may be of interest to our customers.
EducationDynamics shares your personal information with the educational institutions you selected and,
if you use one of our matching services, those institutions which we have matched your profile so that
these institutions may contact you with information about their programs. Use of your personal information

Please be aware that we do not control the activities of the educational institutions with which we match your profile or any third parties to whom we have provided your information for marketing purposes. If you wish them to stop contacting you, you will need to notify them of this fact separately.
Cookies and Other Technology
You can turn off the ability to receive any of these cookies by adjusting the browser in your computer. The Help menu on the menu bar of most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie and how to disable cookies altogether. Without cookies you can visit our Site, but you will not be able to use the services that require you to provide your personal information.
We use clear GIFs, Web beacons, and other tracking devices to follow visitor usage of our site. The data collected through these mechanisms is anonymous, and we do not link it to the personal data you may provide us.
We use web beacons (invisible images often referred to as pixel tags or clear GIFs) on our Site in order to recognize users and assess traffic patterns. We also include Web beacons in our e-mail messages in order to count how many e-mail messages have been opened.
We use TargusInfo validation to verify that the phone number and address entered match, in order to accurately match you to your chosen course of study and school program. TargusInfo validation is not linked to any personal identifiable information.

Supplementation of Information
In order to provide accurate school matching services to you, we may on occasion supplement the personally identifiable information you submitted to us with information from third party sources.
Address and Phone Number Verification
We use TargusInfo validation to verify your address and phone number, in order to accurately match you to your chosen course of study and school program.
If you choose to use our referral service to email a friend or bookmark a page, about our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Addthis.com functionality does not store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email.
We post customer testimonials on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information like a video along with their first and last name. We do obtain the customer's consent via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name and video along with their testimonial.
Ads for ECS
When you view an ad for ECS on other sites, our third-party advertising company may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser. ECS and our advertising company may also use Web beacons (invisible images often referred to as pixel tags or clear GIFs) to note which pages of the Site you visit after viewing our ads. The information that is collected through the use of these images is not personally identifiable and is used only to track response to our advertising efforts.
