There are many military friendly colleges in Idaho. According to the VA, in 2021, 44 Idaho schools received Post 9/11 GI bill funds for over 2,800 students totaling over $23 million dollars.

There are six active programs offering benefits for veterans’ education. If eligible, all of these may be used to help fund a college education.

College of Eastern Idaho aims to make it as easy as possible to Veteran Affairs (VA) Educational Benefits. VA services are provided by the CEI Certifying Officials in the Financial Aid Office located in the John E. Christofferson Building.
