Native American Scholarships & Grants
If you are Native American and want to go to school there may be options available to help pay for tuition, if you qualify.
Did you know that there are scholarships and grants that may be available to eligible Native Americans? Most opportunities typically require that you be at least ¼ Native American, so if you are not already a member of one of over 550 federally recognized tribes than you may have to prove your ancestry.
If you meet the requirements and are found to be eligible, scholarships and grants may be awarded by:
- Tribes
- Organizations, such as the American Indian Science and Engineering Society
- Corporations, such as Wells Fargo
- States, such as Montana
