Nursing

Nursing

Nursing is a great career choice not only because it is extremely rewarding, but also because it’s an area that could have many opportunities. Nurses are needed in hospitals, doctors’ offices, and other health care facilities.

Different nursing occupations require different levels of education. Virtually all nursing careers require either a license or certification.

  • CNAs are not required to have education but training programs may increase your job prospects
  • LPNs are required to go through a 1 to 2 year training program
  • RNs may get an entry level position with an associate’s degree, but it is in their best interest to further their education through a bachelor’s of nursing degree (BSN)

If you want to work in nursing or are already a nurse and would like to further your education, just fill out our College Matching Tool and we can help get you matched to the program that’s right for you. It’s fast, free, and easy—get started today!
