Funding for Military Friendly Colleges in Arizona

There are many military friendly colleges in Arizona. In 2017, 208 AZ schools received Post 9/11 GI bill funds for over 43,170 students totaling nearly $297 million dollars.

There are six active programs offering benefits for veterans’ education. All of these can be used to help fund a college education.

ASU Tempe is one of the top military friendly schools in Arizona with over 4,000 students who receive GI Bill benefits. VetSuccess on Campus is a program through the Veterans Benefits Administration. It places an experienced Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor directly on campus to aid and support veteran students. Plus, some eligible family members. There are also many other programs in place at the school to assist veteran students and their families.
