There are many military friendly colleges in Louisiana. According to the VA, in 2021, 183 Louisiana schools got Post 9/11 GI bill funds for over 6,359 students totaling over $37 million dollars.

There are six active programs offering benefits for veterans’ education. If eligible, all of these may be used to help fund a college education.
