Funding for Military Friendly Colleges in Massachusetts

There are many military friendly colleges in Massachusetts. According to the VA, in 2017, 202 Massachusetts schools got Post 9/11 GI bill funds for over 8,975 students. Total awards were over $81 million.

There are six active programs offering benefits for veterans’ education. If eligible, all of these may be used to help fund a college education.

Suffolk participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program. It offers 150 undergrad students up to $25,000 per student, per year. 35 grad students could get up to $25,000 per student, per year. 35 Law students could get up to $28,000 per student, per year.
