There are many military friendly colleges in Mississippi. According to the VA, in 2017, 90 Mississippi schools got Post 9/11 GI bill funds for over 4,800 students totaling over $23 million.

There are six active programs offering benefits for veterans’ education. If eligible, all of these may be used to help fund a college education.
