There are many military friendly colleges in New Hampshire. According to the VA, in 2017, 66 NH schools got Post 9/11 GI bill funds for over 8,000 students totaling over $52 million.

There are six active programs offering benefits for veterans’ education. If eligible, all of these may be used to help fund a college education.

SNHU has over 5,900 students who get GI Bill benefits. ​The school has been meeting the needs of the region’s military students since World War II. The school offers discounts of up to 30% toward online undergrad and graduate degree programs for U.S. service members. This offer covers both full and part time students, and the spouses of those on active duty.
